COYA, the Peruvian cuisine restaurant chain based in several cities in Europe and the Middle East, closes the year with a very special ‘Amigos de COYA’, which will be hosted by Javier de las Muelas, from Dry Martini and Gimlet. The meeting between De Las Muelas and Carlos Pérez, Bar Manager of COYA Barcelona, will take place on 19 November at 8 p.m. in the emblematic Pisco Bar of the Nikkei gastronomy restaurant chain. During the event, the Dry Martini team and COYA Barcelona will jointly prepare four cocktails, created exclusively for the third edition of Friends of COYA Barcelona, the last of this year 2024. Admission will be free and free of charge.
The cocktails, designed by Javier de las Muelas and his team, can be tasted and enjoyed while both Bar Managers of the two houses will explain and prepare them in situ. From the Origami cocktail with ginger, vodka, wasabi, lemon and cane syrup; the Under the Sun cocktail with London Dry Gin, mandarin syrup, lemon juice and ginger; the Million Springs cocktail with Mezcal, yuzu, limocello, lime, smoked chipotle liqueur, lemon; and the non-alcoholic Spring Julep cocktail, with mint leaves, angostura, lemon, sugar, lime cordial and Schweppes tonic.
Amigos de COYA is an event that takes place in all twelve restaurants around the world. It consists of a cocktail bar visiting COYA's venues. The aim of Amigos de COYA is to create synergies and connections that go beyond pure business, being able to create and explore between both houses, merging labels and providing a transversal experience to its clientele.
