Pisco Jar

To celebrate COYA’s 10-year anniversary, each COYA across the globe has collaborated with local artists to decorate 10 glass pisco jars in honour of our landmark birthday. All pisco jars are displayed around each COYA for guests to enjoy.COYA Abu Dhabi collaborated with five local artists to the UAE for the pisco jar project. Self-taught artist Ramsha Sh who specializes in collaging, surrealism and realism decorated two jars, which are inspired by street art and a desire to recreate everyday reality in artistic form. Moza Almansoori who used bold acruylic paints and Farida Abudhady who channeled her fine art skills into two pisco jars. Abu Dhabi painter Hissa Almansoori expressed her love for bold, almost cartoon-like images for her pisco jars and Fatima Al Hammadi brought her love for calligrapghy and fine art with two striking jars.
